IF YOU DON&#8217;T we will not be able to restore your machine to factory specifications and donate it to the community. You shouldn&#8217;t manually delete your contacts, calendars, reminders, documents, photos, or any other iCloud information while you&#8217;re signed in to iCloud with your Apple ID. This would delete your content from the iCloud servers and any of your devices signed in to iCloud.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p>Follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>If you paired an Apple Watch with your iPhone, <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/kb\/HT204568\">unpair your Apple Watch<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/kb\/HT203977\">Back up your device<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Sign out of iCloud and the iTunes &amp; App Store.\n<ul>\n<li>If you&#8217;re using iOS 10.3 or later, tap Settings &gt; [your name].\u00a0Scroll down and tap Sign Out. Enter your Apple ID password and tap Turn Off.<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap Settings &gt; iCloud &gt; Sign Out. Tap Sign Out again, then tap Delete from My [device] and enter your Apple ID password. Then go to\u00a0Settings &gt; iTunes &amp; App Store &gt; Apple ID &gt; Sign Out.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Go back to Settings and tap General &gt; Reset &gt; Erase All Content and Settings.\u00a0If you turned on Find My [device], you might need to enter your Apple ID and password.<\/li>\n<li>If asked for your device passcode or Restrictions passcode, enter it. Then tap Erase [device].<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re switching to a non-Apple phone,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/kb\/HT203042\">deregister iMessage<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Contact your carrier for help transferring service to a new owner. If you aren&#8217;t using a SIM card with your device, you can contact them to get help transferring service to the new owner.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span class=\"note\">When you erase your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, Find My [device]\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/kb\/HT201365\">Activation Lock<\/a> is turned off.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<h2>If you no longer have your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p>If the steps above weren&#8217;t completed and you no longer have your device, use these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Ask the new owner to erase all content and settings <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/lv-lv\/HT201351#above\">using the above steps<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re using iCloud and Find My [device]\u00a0on the device, sign in to <a href=\"https:\/\/icloud.com\/find\">iCloud.com<\/a>\u00a0or the Find My\u00a0app on another device, select the device, and click Erase. After the device has been erased, click Remove from Account.<\/li>\n<li>If you can&#8217;t follow either of the above steps,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/kb\/HT201355\">change your Apple ID password<\/a>. This won&#8217;t remove personal information that&#8217;s\u00a0stored on\u00a0your old\u00a0device, but it prevents the new owner from deleting your information from iCloud.<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re switching to a non-Apple phone,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/kb\/HT203042\">deregister iMessage<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>If you&#8217;re using Apple Pay, you can remove your credit or debit cards at <a href=\"https:\/\/icloud.com\">iCloud.com<\/a>.\u00a0Choose Settings to see which devices are using Apple Pay, then click the device.
